Dreary Day

By MABUS

Twas a dreary day's eve

When a thought came to me

To walk this lonily path

Or strike forth one anew

So up I picked my hatchet

And beat through the sticks and twigs

Glorious was my work

Breath taking was my design

Tuck it away in my pocket do I

For to view agian

When another dreary day

Comes my way
