Sacrifice

By MABUS

Memories of broken days
lost in a steady building haze
flowing through the twighlights gleam
broken and lost
drifing on the void of time
forever searching
thoughts of the dying moon and the ressurection of the sun
filling my soul with enlightened thought
of hope yet for man
hope yet for the dying souls
a place of peace
a place of silence
reflection of the water's secrets
shining at the stars
happiness in a broken world
peace in a lost soul
hope in the hearts of the people
dreams of better days
eyes close and glaze
fogged thoughts
from sins cold embrace
lying in a pool of blood
time served dues paid
for those better days
