is it time to leave?

By Hello Dead Kitty

I am screaming and screaming
And wondering why you are not looking.
Maybe you’re just deaf
Or hoping I am just that dumb
Silently wishing I would not notice your absence forever…..
On and on……..

Your promises told of greatness
We would find
In life
Together.
Now you are a liar
And an evil recruiter.

Was it that you just loved my cooking?

Maybe it was a need for a handy, available fucking.

I scream out in anger
For your lost expression
And uninterested ways.
I am so pissed off
One more day of this,
Doubtfully,
I can take.

Did you not figure in this equation?
I would need something from you as well
That you would not be able to sit this one out
While I threw the ball AND ran the bases.

Let us start this one all over
And don’t you dare add to that list of lies.
Or embark upon our own separate trails,
Part, and say our goodbyes.
