a walk

By Brolly

I walk down this path
And I am so lost
There is no one to find me
So I slowly trudge onward
To see what I find
I find nothing I need
Or wanted to find
Finding only misery,
Sorrow and regret
This shit is killing me
I need to find something
Something to hold on to
But every time I get closer
It all fades away
The path I was heading
Is now gone
Some where in the darkness
Is this where I belong?
I wander alone
No destination to head
My mind just keeps racing
About the things I once had
