Lost

By Sigh on Sunday

Constant dismay
Raping my thoughts
Hope’s petals
Wilting away

Rescue me
From my dreams of pain
Let your touch
Disrupt my reality

Enter my night
With your gleam of joy
The stars in your eyes
Light my path

A glimpse of you
Each time I blink
Bliss like no other
With a needle and thread

Take me from this place
The twilight of your smile
I can’t bear the darkness
Your ocular stars my guide

Where are you?
You who defies
Love’s nonexistence
Happiness’ briefness

Take me away
From this morose prison
Show me the way
To where we belong
