Memories in the Midst

By Sigh on Sunday

Take me to the place
Where memories are made
Smile at the thoughts
We wish we could remember

Walk with me
On this moonlit path
Laughter in the midst
Of things that haven’t yet passed

A wandering stranger
Caught in your beautiful web
Motionless I remain
Awaiting your carnivorous embrace

Dragging our feet
To the rhythm of Autumn
Fingers interlaced
In our forest of the night

Hold me now
Don’t forget to remember
Hope fades with your touch
I question your existence

  • A former member wrote: "Hope fades with your touch"...yes...so it does, and so it has, in my life. This is, at the end, the very reason I believe that some people give their lives up. Still, your words are beautiful. *Evangel*
