Made for Television

By InsipidTouch

When tragedy sets in
That's all you ever think about.
Ideas of saddeness, pain, and sorrow
Maybe hope for a better tomorrow.
Empty is all you really feel,
If you can feel at all.
Sometimes the comfort you long for
Is the coolness from a blade.
It literally eats your skin alive.
Fun for the moment
Then leaving scars of memories.
If only there was a way
To release yourself from addiction.
One wish is all I ask
And that wish is simply this:
Give me the kiss of death
You tender silent killer.
