You people who say "it's better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all' are pathetic, and full of shit. You must not have lost anyone you REALLY loved. Your mouth goes bitter. Your heart is so heavy, it feels as if it could explode. You wish it would. Every condolence makes it worse until you lock yourself in your house. You might eat a 'small something' daily, as your weight drops and your sunken cheeks seem permanent. You go through the denial, depression, anger and all of the text book bullshit. Yet it doesn't change anything. And as you all remain optomistic, I sit in my house with a spear in my head that will never go away.
