Moon

By angel_eyes

i want to be saved.
i want someone to help me
escape this place,
this life,
run into the wind
letting it flow through me
and sweep me away.
i want to fly
into the black sky,
lit by the microscopic lights
of the heavens.
i want to dance
with the moon,
be one with this goddess
who brings out the night,
and the fear of evryone
except me.
she doesn't scare me
because we are the same being
changing in her orb,
briging out the crazy night,
which makes most run
and hide.
her opposite,
that bright star,
never changes.
she's always there
releasing her heat
and happiness.
she is not me,
and i am not her.
let me fly
above the treetops,
look down upon the earth
as she, the moon, does.
let me create the lunacy
and the tides.
hung there in a black blanket
for all to see.
to worship,
or to hide from.
