The Last Hopeful Plunge

By Eladrim

Will you catch me if I fall?
Will you find me if I call?
If I get lost, will you take me by the hand?
Will you lead me home with you?
I need you now, more than ever.
I'm not okay, i've lost my way again.
I've tried to run but my legs won't move.
I know what I have to do,
This is the deepest fear.
This is the moment of truth.
This is the hardest wall.
This is the rise or the fall.
I'm jumping now, for you.
I'll ignore the wind
Rushing past my face.
I'll ignore the ground
Racing towards me.
I'll keep my eyes open,
And wait for your embrace.
