That Blood Stained Blade
By Crysa
Ah, cool steel.
My head seemed to clear
with the separating of my skin.
I could FEEL!
Sweet Release,
Streaming tears mixing with blood,
the tension severed.
What peace!
The scars fade.
I'll never forget the salvation
found within, that blood stained blade.

Alas Juilliette, if you had only woken a few seconds earlier it would have been your lovers lips that brought you to life. Salvation in steel, I find it too often in angst poetry, but never in swords, and never do they usually find life in it... nice.
