Shudders cold
In darkness I wait
Lost in thought
To contemplate
Breath whispers
In silent night
Sounds the heartbeat
Once frozen from fright
No touch to feel
A soul gone numb
Lost in thought
From everyone
Terrors of mind
New to be known
Words untold
From being alone
Shudders once more
Memories forgot
No one notices
So lost in thought
