There's a Difference!

By Empathy

Depression is all about if you loved me you would.
As in, If you loved me you would stop doing your school work, stop going out drinking with your friends on saturday night, and stop doing everything else besides sitting here by my side and passing me Kleenex and aspirin while I lie and creak and cry and drown myself and you in my misery.

Think about living in depression from moment to moment,
and know it is not worth any of the great art that comes as its by-product.

Madness is Jim Morrison swinging out of the seventh floor window of his suite in Chateau Marmont. It's Kurt Cobain, in every one of those Nirvana videos, looking like a man who is sick, deeply sick, who needs help badly and wears his desperation like a badge of cool.

So which would you rather die from?

This is very well put. It seems that there are alot of people who are truly sick and depressed. Sometimes expressing it artistically can't even save them from it.

I really don't expect anyone to relate or agree with what I said. It makes sense to me and that's what matters. Thanks.

That statement was meant for me. It is expressing my constant pain and torment that I live with daily. And sometimes expressing it artistically doesnt do justice.
