Fall of the System (with the remarkable SorrowSoul)

By peril_notion

When our freedom is revoked
Our individuality is supressed
Mass conformity is provoked
And sins of life to be confessed

Personality no longer our own
This country comes to it's demise
Clone filled future is condoned
Through the darkness comes the cries

In silence we march down empty streets
Suffering in misery, in quiet we fade
Same mistakes, and a cruel future repeats
Our hollow lives showcase the price paid

This digital nation controlled by greed
Take what you want, pay the price for glory
Crying in disbelief displays how we bleed
Apathy, our life, our ending, our story

Multitude consume what they will
Feeding this verity and letting it burn
Wants and needs you're yet to fulfill
Advances in knowledge are nothing but spurn

Until the day cognition is accepted
Altered perception with blinders on
Pitiful fools don't see the suspected
In the end, brains prevail brawn

Weakness in the strain of mortality
Searching for destination of misunderstood soul
Quenching thirst of ravenous morality
Decimate world, load destruction, engage trigger, pull

Blind faith a poor excuse for justification
Without currency this system collapses
Lead them to the feast of earth mutilation
Time to re-evolve before history relapses
