My Broken Fantasy

By peril_notion

Why are we commited
To doing what we're told?
Adhere to all else's
Society-based molds?
Everyone has accusations
Always seem to condemn me
But not one of them realizes
Or holds my sincere belief
Holding onto my dear ones
That shield me from this hell
I lived inside my own young fantasy
Until the truth caused it to fail
Knowing the intolerable cruelty
Adds the world's weight to me
I grasp desperatley for a helping hand
But all others have seemed to flee
