A Little boy
Trapped inside a man
Scared, of being loved
Even more so of being left
A little boy,
I’m finally starting
to understand
Learning how to love
A little boy,
More complicated then I though
I finally see the scars
and how he covers them
Bittersweet, this life
Will always be,
