Dedication

By peril_notion

You have me all stupified and witless
When the rain comes at the same time as we do
When trains cross tressels with roars unheard
Only felt in our bones as we clutch each others' bodies
And when I look out the window and smell the roses
Looking ahead to the last few moments before
We see each other's eyes again; witless I tell you
But it's the sort of witlessness that breathes life into my lungs
Cause every time I wait to smell the scent of your skin
I find out how truly worth the wait it all was
Cracks me up a bit as I pull a double take of these past weeks
And a double take on how this is all playing out so fast
Gathering momentum, and kicking ass and taking names
If I had my wits about me right now it'd seem crucial
To at least fleetingly ponder what lies at the end of this line
But for now, I'm going to remain this witless, choose the
Right-colored roses for you, call you back later, and
Awake again tomorrow with you in and on my mind

  • A former member wrote: beautiful. To find another person in this cold world that so seemingly fits into our complex perceptions on life is worth more than any rich man's gold. I truly thank you for this; I loved it.
