The Oncoming Storm

By Graveyard_Desciple

The oncoming storm calls my name
As the clouds move apart the sky is gray
The rain on my face, red as blood
These bitter memories have caused this flood

The screams of the dead beckon me
They're inaudible to the living
How many ways can I say
The blood on my hands won't wash away?

Images burrowing deep in my mind
All of my sanity left me behind
finally give into these urges I feel
Time to make all of my fantasies real

why do you make me do this?
Why are you in my head?
I can't mute the voices
Until my anger is fed

Images burrowing deep in my mind
All of my sanity left me behind
finally give into these urges I feel
Time to make all of my fantasies real

The oncoming storm calls my name
As the clouds move apart the sky is gray
The rain on my face, red as blood
These bitter memories have caused this flood

why do you make me do this?
Why are you in my head?
I can't mute the voices
Until my anger is fed

The song of a killer- maybe a soldier. War. War never changes. Amazing lyrics.
