Angels

By Sparximus3

You stand there in a wall of thick and solid ice
Your beauty captured forever in one sole trice
There forgotten and lost in your cold blue cell
unreachable and bound by an ancient spell
Imprisoned you are looking so fragile and weak
Wings dropped and with tears frozen on your cheek
On your lips seems to be a yearning plead
Slightly parted they are, but impossible to read
Unreal behind the ice and maybe not even there
But then you open your eyes with a sudden flare
About fear and never abandoned hope they tell
They break the ice and bid a last sad farewell
Countless reflections in the collapsing around
But not one of you, you will never be found

You paint such a beautiful picture with your words. Beauty forgotten, yet still kinda there. Thank you for sharing.
