Spring rain on a city street.

By WhoIAM

Im going outside.
im going out into the soft rainy day and siting on the steps of my apartment.
im going to look into the clouds.
im going on living as i always have.
there is no break in cloud cover.

i scream at the fire hydrant, stoicly siting, next to a blossoming tree.
a girl walking by,
with a bag of intangibles in one hand and red and white striped umbrella in the other,
glances at me and increases her pace.

im siting on the stairs leading to the doors of my home.
my hair drips.

Damn! I've said it before, and I'll say it again,... there is just something about the way you write...you stand apart and above! ~b
