So alone

So many thoughts inside my head,
So many opinions that need to be said,
But nobody's ever there when I need them,
And nobody ever shows me any respect.

Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever be loved,
Wonder why my soul cannot be saved,
Why everyone leaves when I tie my shoes,
Everyone keeps playing with my emotions.

I'm tired of being the angel who's
Covered with darkness and helps people through
Their darkest days with loyalty
But cries in the lack of light.
