Personal Interpretation of Love / Understanding Love
By avlar
What is love?
Why does it hurt?
Poeple have there own perception,
but all i can share is mine.
Love is like the perfect person
she has many arms,
but only one heart
as she waits for the protector
The aerial heart
will give the protector the chance
to reach the skies.
but at least once,
it will fall back to the ground.
So she dodges flame tubes
and navigates through the city of love
so that when your time has come,
your path will be shown
And with this all laid out
the protector
must rise to confront
Destiny, head-on.
Understanding Love
why do we love?
do we really know?
i always wonder what love is....
love is,
our friend,
our enemy,
our companion.
we cannot release ourselves
from this feelings great grasp.
but why is it
that we feel this thing
towards other people
who we may not even know
love is a mystery
that we all try to understand
but when you finaly love
you fall into sand.
but why
can't we figure it out,
we are not made to
for we are only people.
will we ever understand?
mabey
mabey not.
but for now
i dont care
for my heart is in a knot.
i have finaly found love,
in this wicked world
i have found the only
that makes my head swirl.
hopefully it will last
as long as life
for i want this woman,
for my beloved wife.
i have once again joined 2 poems for more room
