The World of Apathy

NOTE: due to misunderstandings (which I rater liked) this peice is sarcastic and is suppose to make you sick to your "moral core." It is NOT intended to be taken litteraly as in saying "hey look at me I am all depressed and have all this horrid stuff happenin to me when I am really a spoiled brat." It is meant to mock the people that do that, I am mocking my friends, myself and others. This peice is meant to mock those who say "do something to fix the problem" and do nothing at all. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I did rather enjoy thoes couple of comments i got though


This is to all you who tell me daily that I must feel with others
That I must be empathetic, this is you who tell me I must be a carrying person,
To those who claim to be carrying, and learned, and aged, to those Dantes out there;
"The hottest places in Hell are reserved for those, who in the time of great moral crisis remain neatural,"
To those who say the evil is that not of evil, but of those indifferent to evil.
To you I submit the World of Apathy; a world in which all members are the truest oddities.
They are the most emapethicit and pray to have apathy towards others. You tell us to be emapethic but;
We have to deal with everone else, we are so open -even when we sheild- that we are torn down, we stand
but like salt in the harsh winds of the desert, torn down night after night.
I show you here those who did not ask for the responsability to sholder everone else problems, friends and foes alike. We know each other by behavior, we reconize each other, we those who are most likely to be outcasted, we are those most likely to be in the inner most circles. We are afraid, we feel empty and we are numb and hate it. We do not want this dark gift this monster that resides in each of us.
Those who we hate turn to use for help, and give us their problems. Those who we love do us the same favor and those who we do not know. They do the same. I tell you now those of you who preech mourn with others, spend your entire life in mourning for others. And when you mourn for yourself, if you can stand tall and speak of courage under fire, if you can not waver, if you are still yourself and can mourn for yourself, then preach to me.
Do not tell me how sorrowful your life is compared to mine! If you seek to whine do so properly
Tell me what ales you but do not tell me that you are worse off than any the others that come to me every minute of the waking day whining to me over the littles things. Do not tell me you are worse off thanthose who come to me every minute of the waking day suffering over death, rape, pain and other misfortunes. Do not tell me these things for all suffering is great and cannot be compared to each other.
I submit before you a group of people, who by no choice of their own, must endure every misfortune second hand but feel it as if it were their own. I give you the members of the World of Apathy.
