MEMORIES

By MABUS

Long lost hope
Of salvation
Requiems from the past

Haunting memories
Of those dying days

Sweet melodies
Of the demons praise

Lonesome moments
Filled with rage

Loathing experiences
Laid out in page

The shadows glimpse
Of the twilights plea

All these hopes
Lost to me

If only a drop
The smallest amount

Could yet be attained
But nay
Tis not to be

Just these memories and me
