A Maiden's Blessing

By Fourknaz

In a turbulant rush she was wet
The brilliance of his words waltzed in her ears
Leapt down her spine shedding an icy breath
Fell into her feet and spun like whirling dervishes
She felt his every moment
The energy between the two interlaced them tight
Tight enough to stifle breathing room

Children could have sent plastic boats asail in her panties
His voice rose as his words found a finish
With a coy grin he smiled and stepped away
Capillaries swooned in her cheeks making her rouge seem a waste of time
Weaving her way through the crowd
Dodging pillbox hats
Spinning off fobs that stopped ticking ages ago
Meandering past the pungent stench of a Cohiba
There he stood

Taking in the breath of her lifetime
She approached him
Their eyes met
His emulated lances piercing her doe-like pupils
Stabbing her heart and opening her floodgates again
As if her sensory blanket was plucked away
Her knees weakened
Her head spun in seventeen directions
Her mouth became the antithesis of her loins
In a felt swoop she felt herself somersaulting into darkness

Awakened by the soft whisper of a unknown maiden
The cool breeze of a mistress' fan
She awoke lying on the floor gazing at the blurred faces of strangers
Gently brought to her feet she allowed the cobwebs to drift
The blood rushed back into her being
The clarity of her being was restored
Alas, time snuck ahead and he was gone

Smiling she made her way into the autumn twilight
The breeze and dampness of October revitalized her
They would meet again
She blessed herself
Praying to remain with him
Next time...
