Born Again

By Fourknaz

In this precious moment
You came to me like a fallen angel
Whose wings were far from tainted
That figure-8 I talk about
Wrapped around us
Clenching us together
The shell I have sat within for so long
Is slowly being shed
The light is stunning
I want to bask in this for ages
Darkness can only be tolerated for so long
When the smile on my face is this large
I refuse to delve back into the concubinal sadness
This is too pure

They say there is a time and a place for everything
Fleeting moments that you either hang on to
Or let slip away
And then there are moments
That are so strong and lasting
That you want to be absorbed in it
You want time to stand still
And you want to relish the glory
It's fantastic to be torn from misery's grasp
And run away with this beauty you have given me

It's as if I'm emerging once again
A new beginning
Page one
Dawn's song
The start of something new
To be born again
Into a mindstate of bliss and butterfly-stomachs
Which turns this once torn body and mind
Into a heart of gold
A depthless mind connecting with another
A fresh start
To being again
This time in hues of turquoise and silver
