PanDEMONium
By Fourknaz
The ineludible darkness inveigles itself
into it's place beside me
Silence takes it's vows, as if this were a marriage in tie
it's episodes caught tangled
within the labyrinth of the vice
In this phase of pandemonium and chicanery dwellings
The hunger burns and the vexation dances
Within a ballroom of silent treachery
And abeyance of freedom is graciously distributed
To thrashing fish, caught mangled within their own anathema
throughout a land of enchanted obliviousness,
disavowal's loyalty grazed through shriveled petals
shivering bitterly across it's swollen breeze
of false offerings and unanswered cries. . .
from those who never prevailed beyond children
forever prevaricate to the trailing of an eye
