Fighting Beneath

By Fourknaz

Juvenile delinquent
Don't deny it, it's really what you meant
Open your soul to let it vent
Release the string and drift away

Expression overpowers regression
Contemplation devours resignation
Step ahead, the floor is yours
Speak your mind, kick down those doors

Dance the macabre
Close your eyes, turn away to pray for yesterday
Breeder at night, liar by day
Incensed at the world, burn the bed in which you lay

Freedom is as close as winter's chill
Take your fill and duck into hiberation's windmill
Circling and circling and circling again
It's the same from your mouth or from the pen.

Woe is me, this life is reality see?
Lick the guillotine cause it's free
Fighting demons beats fighting beneath
