Temperance

By Fourknaz

She waits at the window
Watching the stars that fall
Silence becomes her
Shooting across the sky in light
Sighing, her head is buried in her hands
Tears that fall aren't plauged with dismay
It's joy that dampens her
Time is temperance
It might be the answer
To the questions that have remained
Unanswered for some time
As the snow follows the stars
She kisses the wind
In hopes that he senses her
