The glow of red and blue

By agentlemenspromise

I met a girl who wanted to kill me
She could be my angel
I wanted to do something to define her
So I wrote a rhyme that bled with time
Back dropped with a rhythm that wrapped itself around a revolver
Now its loaded lacking five bullets
And I wanted to paint her something beautiful
So I took your pain and painted it on the wall
The casing followed the bullet into my head
It led the silhouette of me falling for you
Now the world can admire the beauty of your composed sadness
Behind caution tape on the canvas of my bedroom window

This poem is beyond grand...I cojured up patriotism at first, because of the title. Then I read through it and say all of the amazing imagery you handed me...'so I took your pain and painted it on the wall' was my favorite line,
