To breathe a sliver of none, no, naught
Empathy abrades my senses
Apathy avails Keats suffering
Dragged & clawed
Kissed & pawed
I dig through the graves unspun
To taste a lingering rot
Laid my head at rest
& dreamt what bones have cast
Gentle now, shush
I lie here with the dead...
