Drone

By Goodnight_Moon

"Absence makes the heart grow fonder"
Or so I'm told
Then why does mine wander?
It used to be that time apart would make my passion grow
But the past few months have come and gone without the slightest glow
If I leave him
Yet again
I know I'll be alone
He'll be crushed
I'll be a wreck
And all the pleasure flown
Iy's not that I don't hear the words that every woman loves
The problem is the feeling's flown like white enchanted doves
When he's there I feel no different than when I'm home alone
He tells me that he loves me so, but rarely is it shown
I could fill a Physics book with all the lovng words
Just like his family we fly together like a flock of birds
They let me in their little nest
And there it feels like home
But he and I have only silence
At most a growling drone
The same old things
Just different days
Unchanging as can be
When I say "I love you"
It means nothing to me
It's all routine
And that's the thing
That is loves suicide
To eveolve and change
To re-arrange
Makes love just like a ride

no sorrow so sweet as that of loves defeat..i think too often people forget that love is an action to be felt, done, shown...without the effort its just empty sentiment with no meaning good write ~kristy
