LIGHTNING

It's quick,it's fast,it lights up the sky
and yet with it's touch you can surely die.
It flashes and streaks and dances around,
and from time to time comes to the ground.
It's in the storm outside my house it makes
my dog act like a frightened mouse.
I love to sit in my easy chair and out the
window I do stare to watch the greatest show
of shows,the always deadly lightning.
It makes a flash and splits the sky,and
causes the clouds to hollar and cry.
That is why I love a summer storm,so
I can watch the lightning
