DUSTY TRAILS

By DarkPaladine

Burning sun over head sweat pouring down
my face.Saddle creaking cattle stinking
moveing them from place to place.
Wagon wheels cutting ruts on this dusty
trail, scorching heat all over the place
makeing it fell like hell.
Watering holes have gone dry,sun bleached
bones we pass by,mounds of stones with cross's
catch your eye on this dusty trail.
Cattle balking very little talking rideing
day to day, thinking of what we will do when
we get our pay.
A cowboy's life is never easy here on dusty
trails.Somedays it can be heaven, other's it
can be hell.
Life is always changeing out here on dusty
trails,mending fences moveing hay another
part of a cowboy's day.
Ropeing horse's branding cows drinking
whiskey and dance hall gals.Sitting around
campfires and telling tall tales.
This is all part of life out here on
dusty trails.
