The Fireman's Thoughts

By DarkPaladine

What does a fireman think when he
goes to fight the firey beast?
Does he wonder if he will win or
if it will get to feast this liveing
breathing firey beast.
What does a fireman think think when
he fights the firey beast?
Does he think about the lives he will
save or does he think about the ones
who have died and are in the grave?
Does he think about the folks he saves
from the fire,or does he look up at the
building he must go in and hope it does
not go up much higher.
Does he think about his gear as he puts
it on,or does he think about his family
as the siren sings it's song.
Does he think about his buddies and the
job that they must do,or does he think
about things that could happen and the
life that he could loose.
Yes firemen and women are brave as they
can be,but what do they think of when they
fight the firey beast?
