At Calvery

By DarkPaladine

I wish I could have been there that
day at Calvery, when we the sinners of
this world nailed our Jesus to the tree.
I wish I could have been there as they
nailed his hands and feet, for I know
the pain he suffered he did it all for
me.
I wish I could have been there as they
speared him in his side so that he could
look upon me and see the tears that I
cried.
I wish I could have been there to feel
his loveing grace.I wish I could have
been there when darkness covered the
place.
I wish I could have been there when
in the grave he was laid to rest,so
I could tell him thank you for you
did your very best.
I wish I could have been there when
he did again arise and watched him
as he went to heaven with the angles
by his side.
Some day I know I'll meet him and my
sins he knows and sees,And I know that
he forgives me,that's how great is his
love for me.
All I can say to you my friend is that
you must belive, and give thanks to God
above that his only son died for folks
like you and me.
