Through the eyes of a child

By DarkPaladine

Have you ever looked at the world
through the eyes of a child?
At the way they look at a butterfly
and see bunnies in the clouds.
Have you ever looked at a playground
with it's slides and swings and see
how they pretend they are flying while
in there swing.
Have you ever watched a child as they
listen to there mother sing,or watched
them with there father as they played
marbles in the dirt on there hands and
knees.
Have you ever looked at the world through
the eyes of a child on a rainy day.How sad
those eyes look when they see that they can
not go ou to play.
Have you ever looked at the world through
the eyes of a child while they were at play.
Did you see the brav knights and the dragons
they slay.Have you looked through the eyes of
a little girl as she puts on her new dress,or
watched her as she pretends she is a princess
or a damsel in distress.
Yes,I wish I could see the world through the
eyes of a child one more time,Instead of seeing
it through these tired eyes of mine.
Yes if I could turn back time,I would like to
see the world through the eyes of a child.
