The Battle Between Knight's and Dragons

By DarkPaladine

With leathery black wings and scales like
armor the dragon flew through the sky.
The brave knight on his trusty steed stood
on the hill near by.
The dragon landed in yon dale near by and
watched the knight with his eye's.
The dragon turned and told the knight, now
it is your turn to die.
The knight got apon his steed and said
with a gleem in his eye,He said we will
see old beast which of us will die.
The dragon roared, the knight drew his
sword and the battle did begin.
The fighting went on for hours it seemed
neither one would win.
And then with a twist of fate the knight's
sword found it's mark.
It slipped in between the scales and into
the dragons heart.
The dragon blew his firey breath into the
knight's face and forever he would bare
the mark.
This battle has gone on for ages with
knight's told of there great win.
While all the times that it is told the
dragon is laughing at him.
A dragon lives on forever it is a mystical
beast, they like to play with knights and
help them do great feats.
So when ever you hear a story of dragons
and knights brave and bold.
Watch closely of who is telling the tale
for it maybe the dragon of old.
