Seem to be Right

things used to be so simple
we'd go to a movie
drink coffee at midnight
and wrestle in parks after dark

we'd confuse jewelers
watch fightclub
kiss in the woods
and drive to the beach in the rain

then i had to go away for awhile
and it seemed that every moment
that i had taken for granted
was taken away

it hurt at first
still hurts now
but ive started to realize
somethings different

this isnt just a crush
it isnt this weeks new thing
this is something worth
waiting for

youre in my dreams
in my thoughts
i see your shadow
in the mirror

we both have faults
as well as virtues
and for the first time
thats completely alright

things seem to fit
together
things seem to make more
sense
