Reflection

By TheReap

My life isn't worth living anymore
All along I've felt trapped behind a door
I'll never amount to anything better
So I'll hit the road that goes on forever
Going down the road, which path will I take
Heaven or Hell, which choice will I make
I saw in the distance yet another path
This path was called The Suicidal Aftermath
I entered the gates and I met a man
Who asked me if I knew just where I am
After a while I silently said no
He said I will show you and off we will go
This skeleton of death showed me about
Showed me the place inside and out
This place kept the records of all who had died
And showed the way they had committed suicide
Why am I here? I innocently asked
He snickered a while as the truth he unmasked
He took me to a room, they all looked the same
The only thing different is that this had my name
In the room stood a boy with a gun
He pulled the trigger and his life it was done
I grabbed the strange man and said it can't be
The boy in the room was a reflection of me
