rainbows and dreams

think of a dream
hold it in your thoughts
as big as it may seem
its up to you, not to be bought

a rainbow across the sky
on a clear spring day
don't bother to ask why
just sit and relax, listening to the bay

a butterfly upon your knee
fluttering its wings
just as happy and trustful as can be
if you listen close you jsut may hear it sing

a dream is a thought
unique to you
it can't be learned nor can it be taught
each as fresh as the springtime dew

be true to yourself
love who you are
dream your dreams
and know they are not far
