So Beautiful and Alone

By TheVampireSergioV

Many nights I sit and ponder
Upon this life of mine and its wonders
My Powers of will and suggestion
I choose to use as a mere jester
I see others in the night embracing hand in hand
And knowing if I want to have the same I can
But to just have any hand I choose to hold
Would make me still a lonely soul
Outside darkness falls and the town clock sounds its hourly tone
As I awaken from my deep sleep still so beautiful and alone

I agree with everyones comments. I love this. I can't say why, but I do. Something about the flow, the way the words slam into each other. Very nice. How did I ever miss you?
