Plasticine Utopia

By ashrain

Styrofoam gods
watch from atop plastic pedistals
over the masses
of servile inhabitants
stepping forward
only once
to speak with voices
like childrens laughter
and command
that one and all
put down thier futile processions
and dance to the music
of thier beating hearts
upon the ocean sand.
