the blood of your tears

By boundandfallen

i still can taste the flavor of your tears
all the salt we've cried away the years
all the pain that you have brought me near
i still can taste the flavor of your tears

i still remember everything you said
i still remember laying you to rest
i remember you taking your last breath
i still remember everyword you said

fuck the world and all its gray matter
fuck the gods for leaving my soul to shatter
fuck the sky for raining on your grave
and fuck the stars for taking you away.

i still recall the look in your eyes
when you knew that you were going to die
you screamed out loud, "god, please tell me why!"
you were gone to fast to barely start to cry

i still taste the blood of your tears
all the pain, we've cried away the years
all the hate that you have brought me near
i still can taste the flavor of your tears.
