Your army

By Belle

I clash to be discernable
Or even audible
Among this army of lovers
And with one blow
One sweet caress
You would disclaim to me
good night
(they all want you)

Bid me from walking away
In your able bodied crest
Would you arrest me there forever
Esteem me like you promised me you would
That night we stood in darkness
Under street lamps
Sparking like lovers do
So willingly giving up our lives
For a moment of truth

You are absolute
and faultless
To be complete
By your side
Is breath-taking
and striking
And dote on me
That I would give my world
To be your better half
a concubine of your love
and to show you my devotion
For the better end of an eternity

Honest and beauitful. A hope that speaks deeper than these words. Your work, again, is magnificant. -Glass

I loved this, so sincere and deep, the first stanza was so well expressed, and really cut deep. I loved the line "That I would give my world To be your better half", such truth and beauty in such, wonderful work.
