Hospitality Beckons
By fritzwraith
Let the bickering enter the door,
As criticisms pass by the window.
Let some ranting fill my mailbox,
As the plants grow tall with hatred.
You don’t like me?
Come in. Enter my home.
We’ve known each other for some time.
Oh, by the way, you look great!
Your hair tangled with regrets is perfect,
It goes well with your self-righteous clothing!
No need to wipe the past off your shoes,
Or clean your hands from that sadistic filth.
Sit down.
Please eat some of my patient cookies
And drink this tea of ideas.
Make yourself comfortable.
Okay, we’ll go over it again…
Yes, what is it?
You think I’m stupid and dumb?
That’s okay.
Others like you say the same.
Goodbye! Come again next time…

Thanx! This is an experimental poetry. I was having a bad time during that time but I try to counter my emotions with stoicism.
