There has to be something
Worthwhile to make sense
Of this crazy world
In which we live
In which we give
Our souls to the devil
And our hearts out for free
Please spare me
One little thought
One truth
As to why this is the way
In which we will never stray
From the path of “lifeâ€
One we walk
One we talk
One I hate
That I live every day
Or am I really dead
No ones sees me anyhow
Pain given freely
Our innocence taken fast
We’ll never last
For times have changed
I’ve gotten older
And I’m still dead
Thoughts are no longer secret
And secrets are no longer hidden
Everyone knows everything
To this world we bring
More ammunition for the guns
More gasoline for the fire
Never grows tire
Roar forever
So tell me
Is there something worthwhile
In this world we live
