Always About the Eggs.

By Blacken_Heart

I have made a choice
Just for now
And only for today
To remember all the times
I was truly happy
althought, not very many
You come to mind the most
And I miss you.
But thats not the point
I wanna think of the good.
Remember the easters
I would spead with you?
And all the stuff bunnys
I still have.
Yea. I know, me, 14
and still have the bunnys.
Yep all of them.
And remember the time
I was only 7 or 8
I got scared cuz I saw,
The easter bunny.
I know now, It was just
One of the stuff animals.
And, You always hid the eggs.
Mom, She never hides the eggs,
She says I;m too old, Fuck that.
She always calls me a smart mouth to
But, I know who i got it from.
Mom Would say
"How do you want your eggs"
and you would always say
"COOKED, how the hell else
would I want them?
I can remember alot
And it always brings a smile to me.
But now, I'm getting the bad
Remembering, How you got cancer.
Remembering, how I saw it
Kill you slowly,
Untill, you did not even
Know who I was.
I love you, Soo
Soo much.
And I'll keep the smile
On my face, Just for you
But Grandpa
I still Miss you.

(For the one and only man, That could make me feel like a princess, In "Bunny Vally"(corny, I know, But i don't care) And that always made me feel happy. I have more Happy Memories Of my Grandpa, Then my Father. But, Grandpa, He died of cancer, And I had to watch him die. I had to watch him pop pills, And I saw him dead. He always wanted to live untill 2000, And he did. He died Januanry 2, 2000. He was a strong man. And I love him. )

the depth of emotion in this is very clear and touching... and the way you've included the 'little moments' is very heartfelt and thoughtfully observed. a lovely dedication.
