What I Am

I am a sacrifice
I am a person
I am hurt and
I am crying
I am dying inside
I am burned out
I am falling again
Deep inside me I feel the pain no longer
All is numb
All is gone
And all is lost
There is no hope
The numbness takes over
And I wish
To be placed in a spulchure
Where the sun falls
And leavs the earth in a bleak darkness
I am gone
I am no longer
I am dead
