Lead and Gold

By Woad

I saw a path,
and I was upon it.
My body,
to the left
My soul,
to the right
My mind,
near the center.

In my three right hands,
Was each a lump of lead.

This is a long path,
A short path,
A Red and Blue path.

Lessons taught,
Lessons learned,
Many of pain,
Many of pleasure,

All worthwhile.

I see a path,
and I am upon it..
My body,
My soul,
My mind...
Centered.

Within my two hands,
A Crystal of Gold.
